I would take Martins and Gutierrez.

Not saying that they should start or anything but they would both be good squad players and would strengthen the team and we wouldn't have to pay inflated prices to get them. Just cause we have money doesn't mean we shouldn't look for bargains. Who would you rather have on the bench, Martins or Evans? Vassel or Jonas?

Out of the entire squad, probably only Martins. THe rest are a bit of a joke. That Jonas lad isn't that bad either, so maybe him.
I think we destroyed their season by taking Given, I think we might just have gotten them relegated by stealing Given for 6 mill.
I mean what a joke for them. Daylight robbery.

As for suggestions of Butt and Smith, because of their European experience, that hasn't helped Newcastle. They are poor players. Smith is one of the most stupid players with a terrible disciplinary record. Butt is so past it he's on another planet all together.
