Ridiculous thread.

No he should stay.

Some City fans are like children 'I want it now,

Grow up. It will take as long as it takes but with the Sheik success will come :)

The problem is Dave, some of the more 'vocal' members of this board keep banging on about Morinho, the kids on here get excited and it comes across as if a clear majority want rid of Mancini.
Good to see this isn't the case judging by this thread. Don't listen to the idiots throwing their toys out of the pram

I won't speak for others, but i never ever wanted Mancini at this club. I don't rate him as a manager at all and think he is tactically inept. I want stability, i want us to appoint a manager who we will give 2-3 season and some decent money to do a job, but and its a big but, we need the right man for the job. Mancini is not that man. His success at Inter was largely down to his main competitors being severely handicapped. What was his record in the Champions League? Did he make the Quarter finals?

Your right, Mourinho wouldn't come here. Real Madrid, Barca, Utd even Liverpool are places he would want to go, not here. Hiddink we cannot get as he now has a contract with Turkey.

Who would i appoint. Laurent Blanc. Has done a superb job at Bordeaux and starting to make an impact in the Champions League. His tactically ability looks spot on, guy who would have the respect of the dressing room, wouldn't take any shit and doesn't seem the sort of guy who'd sign players on over inflated transfer fee's and wages.

As i say, Mancini is a lovely guy and i like him a lot. As a manager i just do not think he is the guy a lot seem to think he is.

I'll remember your username and come back to you in 12 months. Then i'll be able to say 'i told you so'

Laurent Blanc - yes, he's the coach of a team with little funds who are in the Quarter Finals of the Champions league at the moment.

Anyone who says they would keep him don't like attacking football. I watched the team go up on the scoreboard & my 1st reaction was. Here we go again at home 1 man up front. Mancini will be happy with a point. City people say don't give a manager time. I would get rid of Mancini even if we do make 4th. I may be slagged for saying it. But I for 1 would rather get into the europa cup. Until we get rid of 70% of the squad & bring in class players. The champs league would make us look what we are - not ready for it. Why make laughing stocks of ourselves. Have we not done enough of that over the years. The owner needs to sit down & talk to someone with a love for the club e.g. Bell, Tueart. Then get their feelings on who would be the best manager to take us forward. Not a man who plays a defensive midfield which mostly does not work.

attacking football or winning football?

only a witless **** would choose the former over the latter. Luckily those who count choose the latter, and not just at our club but all the major clubs in the world.

Can't actuly belive some fucking idiots already want him out. I would deffinatly keep him, When we sacked Hughes(not going to talk about if it was right or not) it just felt like we were strting all over again and that this season was a bit of a wast as we would really see what Mancini was capable of next year when he had HIS team.

Mancini is the best thats available. Are we letting go of this Italian bird in our hand for that mercenary 'Porto' bird in the bush who will likely dumped us for another.
Do you think Chelsea is still suffering from the aftermath of Friskgate affair? Can City afford one?

I've only looked at this page of this thread.
Mark Hughes played attacking football and we were not going to finish in the top four whilst he was in charge.
I'll judge Mancini at the end of next season
