Would you want Mancini out if we dont make 4th?

Anyone who says they would keep him don't like attacking football. I watched the team go up on the scoreboard & my 1st reaction was. Here we go again at home 1 man up front. Mancini will be happy with a point. City people say don't give a manager time. I would get rid of Mancini even if we do make 4th. I may be slagged for saying it. But I for 1 would rather get into the europa cup. Until we get rid of 70% of the squad & bring in class players. The champs league would make us look what we are - not ready for it. Why make laughing stocks of ourselves. Have we not done enough of that over the years. The owner needs to sit down & talk to someone with a love for the club e.g. Bell, Tueart. Then get their feelings on who would be the best manager to take us forward. Not a man who plays a defensive midfield which mostly does not work.

Prize for most ridiculous post of the week goes to this.

So the team was defensive with Ireland, Johnson, Tevez, Bellamy in the side. What do you want? KK back.

So Mancini is no good but you then say 70% of the players are rubbish. So he's not doing too bad then is he? Make your mind up.

An as for asking Tueart and Bell to select a manager. Are you mad? We've been down the "love the club route" with Franny Lee and look where that got us.

We have an intelligent owner, intelligent chief exec and chairman and we now have a very intelligent manager who is unlikely to waste vast sums of money on average players.

What we could do with is some intelligent fans who realize this. Apologies to the large majority who already do.

I'm going to enjoy re-visiting this thread in 12 months if Mancini remains.

Here's my prediction if he stays;

He will bring at least 5 players in the summer, all foreign, all expensive and on over inflated wages. They will come into the side and will do ok, Man City will be a little better than we are now, but nowhere near the top teams who will continue to be Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Tottenham - Don't like Harry but he has got them playing and if they can keep Lennon fit and sort out their defence, they are the most likely to break the top 3. This season they play FA Cup semi, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea within 2 weeks. They will not get 4th.

Villa - Seems they have no cash to spend and lerner wants out. Good team, but no strength in depth, always tire towards the last third of the season.

Liverpool - Could be, IMO the next club to find a middle East backer. If they hang on to Torres and can attract someone like Mourinho (which i think they can) they will be right back into it. Regardless, if they can get Torres and Gerrard fit and maybe add a couple, they are still there. I think they might just get 4th this season. Their run in isn't too bad.

Everton - Solid, smart team. Doesn't have the squad numbers or quality to push for 4th. Won't have any money to spend in the summer unless they sell. Will continue to compete for 6,7 or 8th unless they find investment.

FFS give managers some time, I did not want Hughes out and do not want mancini out so bloody soon.

I agree with this about Hughes and Mancini.

All I will say is player power is a terrible thing.

Some of our so-called heroes are not exactly championing his cause.

Personally, I will reserve judgement. If he makes top four, absolutely should stay.

Otherwise, he will have fallen short of his remit.
