Would you want Mancini out if we dont make 4th?

Lets get it right we're judging a man who has inherited a team that was assembled to the tune of £200m. which is probably worth only half that!
The man needs time and be able to bring in players that he can work with. And if he's going to bring in young players like Adam Johnson in the summer then he has my backing!

Bobby Manc CAN and WILL make history at City!!

Just on the subject of summer spending- have a look at Graham Dorans at WBA. Looks quality and would look perfect in the City midfield.

CTID!!!

I love this thread.

Of course NO.

As had been said, he has the ability to take us to the top. He would become our special one rather than getting someone else's cast off.

I still think we will make 4th but even if we don't Bobby Manc IS LEGEND!

Absolutely not. I think Mancini can build us into a great side, we just need more of 'his' type of players to do it.

No
He doesnt fill me with confidence when he is looking at bringing in players like Gago for alot of money who cant get into Madrids squad and i dont understand why we didnt strenghten last January in the window more than we did, but he needs to bring in some of his players, with luck players who can control the dam ball for a start and passing be nice also but changing managers again wont get us anywhere

This 6 month (and we'll see how things are) contract says it all for me.... He was brought in as they wanted Hughes out, IF he did spectacularly well i.e carling cup, not being knocked out by stoke in the FA cup and 4th (minimum, lets remember where we were when he took over) then he'd stay....as he has not delivered I expect Jose to take over this summer, not a huge fan of his football but the mans a proven winner across many different leagues so thanks for your efforts Robbie Manc, but its not worked out.

I cannot think that he was brought in as a stop-gap. Given all the behind-the-scenes discussions as to what we had, what was needed, etc, I wouldn't have thought that Khaldoon wanted another round of manager chasing after six months.

And it raises the question that if Mancini was shown the door, who the hell is waiting in the cafe at Asda for the phone call?

I think we've blown 4th place but i still want Mancini to be our manager next season.
Hughes' deficiencies in the transfer market are there for all to see and Mancini is having to work with someone elses side, give him the summer to bring in his own players and then watch us go next season.

Blown 4th place? We're 2 points off 4th. We're in with a real shout of 4th despite a poor result last night. If we don't get at least 7 points from the next 3 games i'll be concerned but for the time being we're right in the battle for 4th

I don't want Mancini to go. I think he has enough about him and given time could take us to where we want to be

No, he should be given time and at least a couple of transfer windows to get some of his players in.

If it means we fight it out for 4th spot this year AND next year, then so be it....we've fought it out for a lot less in the past.

The part I like about Bob is that he has imo correctly identified all our weaknesses - he knows Micah is not good enough for right back, SWP not good enough, central midfield garbage and that we lack a creative mid who can pick a pass.

Given the summer Bob will correct the problems.

Of course if Jose wants the job though, then it is his.

My views on Mancini are the exact same whether we get 4th or not! If Jose is available then we get him end of. If Jose isnt available then we stick with Mancini end of!

I want Mancini out even if we DO make 4th! Simply not up to the rigours of the Premier League
It's a while since he played top class football so he might have some difficulty.

What kind of a post is this? Not up to the rigours of the Premiership? It's an international game, and Mancini has proved very adept at changing the system and getting the most out of players.

We got beat. Deal with it, and stop looking for scapegoats

im really really happy (and surprised) that incredibly fickle city fans dont want mancini out. i love the guy and believe he is top class. Like others have said, if Jose doesnt want the job, no need to look elsewhere, mancini is the man.

To ba fair to Manchini He hasn't really had a lot of money to spend, he has only been in the job a couple months and this isn't his team that he has inherited. But still he is holding the team together quite well and keeping us in the chase. I say give him time and let him bring in a few of his chosen players and see what happens. I think he is taking us in the right direction and with a bit of money he could take us further.

I say stick with him and lets get behind him. That 4th spot is still up for the taking.
