Theres a hardcore wrestling even on at the students union in manchester on sunday... the proper barbed wire, tables, broken glass and weed whacker stuff! It starts at 9pm i think, then after it they are showing wrestlemania. Cheap drinks all night, so a few of us got tickets yesterday, should be a laugh!

I'm going to this, bars open till 4, drew me in, doors open at 7.30, show starts at 8, I'll be down about 9 I reckon, not arsed about their show to be honest. I know one of the lads running the event tho so should be entertaining.

Should be a good night, I watched it at Rileys in Chortlon last year.

There was a group of around 10-15 blokes there playing cards and laughing their tits off, mocking us etc when we started watching it (about 15 of us), within 30 minutes they had all stopped playing poker and were watching the wrestling, cheering, booing.

I assume that they will only allow fun bets to small stakes.

Like with TV shows there may be several endings scipted and the decision of which one to run with will be made last minute.

I didn't want to watch it at someones house, Rileys aren't showing it this year, Fab Cafe have it on as a reply Monday night instead of live, there is another bar on Portland Street, can't remember the name, who are shoing it but only have a license until 12, which I see as pointless.

I have had to pay £10 to get a ticket to the promotion on beforehand but a bar till 4am it very enticing.

You need the ticket, £10 gets you both, or into one, whichever you choose.
