I'd write to FAWSL and tell them that that referee shouldn't be taking charge of a game anywhere and at any level, but I think I'd be wasting my time - I could get booked! I hope the club complain about her performance.

They absolutely should. I was pleased Taylor avoided it though, as it wouldn't have helped.

That's exactly why it was brought in, we don't know if it was genuine cramp or time wasting. If it was cramp then she shouldn't have requested treatment just after we gave away a corner.

There are so many stupid rules now, it would take days to list them all, and that's before you get onto var.

Yeah, I was glad he avoided it. If it were a male ref I'd be all for him going for it, but as it was it could have come across badly, as bullying even. Shouldn't be any different, but it could have seemed that way.

I was interested in what Hayes said about it ? Sadly I can't find anything, but.....

The changes have not gone down well so far as former England striker Ian Wright described Greenwood's dismissal as "embarrassing" and said it showed a lack of common sense.

Arsenal striker Beth Mead posted on X: "Awful decision, never time-wasting."

And former Manchester United manager Casey Stoney added: "Possibly the most ridiculous red card I've ever seen. How to ruin a game in the WSL. Absolute joke!!!!!"

I can understand Hemp's second yellow, as that is generally a yellow these days, but she wouldn't have had the first one but for the idiot referee.

I really hope City make a complaint, and use some of the shite we have to put up with "time wasting" most weeks (girls and boys).

It's questionable for sure, and there's definitely a bias towards the Ragettes and Chelsea...

But it's not usually that bad. That today was absolutely shocking.
