Yep and some good pressing from Aoba - I do worry that Chloe Kelly does change the way we need to play - quality player but often looks like she doesn't fit into our system - we look a lot more dangerous now.

Viv looking a quality above with her movement and pace of passing, we need to figure out how to get the return passes to her. Can't wait to see a fit Jill and Viv together.

Should've made that a lot more comfortable than it was but with 5 changes we were unlikely to be fluent. Always a little on edge until we got that 2nd goal. Was good for some of the players to get the minutes and rest for others before the midweek big game. 3pts taken so all good in the end.

That's quite a bit of rotation for today. Hope it doesn't backfire. Leaving Shw on the bench is a bold move.

I’ve just looked at summat on the OS and Bunny was starting and sitting on the bench. GT hedging his bets. They seem to have corrected now!

As per usual with a City team, lots of possession, lots of chances wasted, some good ones too, often sloppy with the passing.

I thought we made West Ham look a lot better than they are. We banged in five last season against the Hammers, and it seemed we were swapping goals for fuckin' backpasses today. The guy in front of me went to get a drink towards the end of the first half and the time he was away I counted two attempts on goal from us, one West Ham Corner and five backpasses. Funny thing from the proggy - GT said he thought we were brilliant against Brighton when we didn't have the ball. I'm a Messi when I've not got the ball, FFS.

Better second half than first today. The introduction of Bunny forward running and pressuring the keeper won us the second goal.
As usual some criminal finishing esp when you would have thought it was harder to miss than score.
Far too much faffing about with the back passes in the first half, thankfully that reduced in the second.
On to Barcelona. Come on you blues, all tickets sold. Pity it isn't being played at the Etihad.

Agree. Substitutions for us made it certain after West Ham were beginning to get some chances . Bunny Shaw is a cheat code and we have the best DMF in the league . Hemp was unlucky not to score two but some of our finishing was woeful.
