WSL - WHU v Man City, Sunday 1 October

What are our hopes this season?

Last season was the least I watched for a very long time tbh due to varying reasons and some woeful game advertising on top.

Is this Taylor's final last chance?

Yeah, I think he's in the last chance saloon. We have a good squad - pace, power, tactically aware (for the most part), dogged! I just wish some of the characteristics of the team landed in the technical area.

Today won't be an easy game, although last season we made heavy weather of too many games. It will depend on how well other teams have strengthened. The usual culprits will be bouncing around the top, but those which finished below us last season will be snapping and nipping and will surely have better seasons coming up! We shall see.

I'm not very hopeful re the first home game v CFC.

Bent ref at Villa park…. Let’s United off with a clear red - ref looking right at it…. No hesitation sending off the Villa player a few mins later.

Oh and it be another season with them on the bbc at every opportunity

Team news:

No Shaw will be a big miss. Surprised Keating is in with Roebuck on the bench.

Meant to be very talented, I take it we sent our ex-youth back to Everton who we had on loan last year?

Edit no we signed her on a 3 year deal, blimey we have three first team keepers, odd really.
