WSL - WHU v Man City, Sunday 1 October

Dreadful so far - aimless long hall football. Making a really poor West Ham look okay.

" Man City had more passes than any other team in the WSL last season, by quite some distance "

In a mad sort of way, that kind of sums up exactly what's wrong for me... the insistence from above that the women have to play the same holistic way as every other team at the club.

Lends itself to my other theory that Taylor is happy to be the yes man which is why he's still here.
I'm not surprised, we make ten passes where three would achieve the same end. I've just watched an attack down the left - the regulation ten passes and booted out for a goal kick!

I had problems too, took me a good few minutes. Obviously been 'updated' it used to be a simple log in and click on the match you wanted. Took me ages to log in and then find out match.

Hemp should have struck that first time, her touch was poor and it allowed the defenders to get back.

Least consistent with the mens, 4 shots 0 on target and just 2 fouls = 1 card
The card was for kicking the ball away, which is one of the things the officials are clamping down on, and the players know it.
