Grindrs looked good, if it was a red for Rico then it should have been the same for the one on Moush in the first half. Waist high and nowhere near the ball. Created sweet FA in the second half (and not much more in the first) but it is early days.

That was myself. I think a lot of the comments are more than fair considering how he has performed for us. He’s way off it and leaves us very vulnerable. I also posted “Rico Edghill” earlier, he’s the modern day Edghill. I was around.Because it’s shit comments like the dickhead who said the ref did us a favour when he was sent off. Shit like that. Lewis is the modern day Edghill in terms of abuse, with the likelihood many abusing him weren’t even swimming around in their dad’s ball bag when that was a thing.

Savinho's attempt at an overhead kick in the first half was more dangerous than Rico's 'offence', and nothing was said.
Accidents happen; the ref overreacted because Rico caught the player's head.
Just my opinion.

Thought we did ok. As expected, in what is more or less pre season game. Reindjers looks the part. Foden looks more himself and bonus mins for Ozzy Bobb and Rodders. Onwards and upwards Blues! C’mon City!

I assume Doku is injured, as we played for 5 minutes with 10 men before he was subbed. I hope its nothing serious he was very threatning and took his goal well, and should have had 2 when he pinched the ball off the defender but couldn't beat their keeper.

Why can’t people give a kid a break. Not brilliant today but few errors, a good set up for Erling. When we got caught out early first half yes he was out of position, but that’s his job, and it’s the right cb job to cover the space he leaves when he inverts. It’s a team game, stop feeling the need to smash an individual. First game of a long season, thank fuck in England I go to all the games rather than put up with the bitch fest in here.Why can people not air the idea that Lewis is way off the standard required?

They certainly were physical .... that ludicrous first half tackle on Marmoush should definitely have seen one of them take an early bath ..... and the way they were solely intent on stopping corner kicks reaching our players was equally farcical, it was like watching WWE wrestling at times!
