They advertised our first match and I am guessing that they will show all of ours and Chelseas matches

not showing all Chelsea's games on Channel 5. Just the one I think

One week to go. I am looking forward to this. Had last season been a success I don't think I would, but it's a chance to test ourselves in a competitive environment and get the measure of the team moving forwards into next season.

Hopefully we see a big improvement and next season is a good one.

Yeah, more excited than I thought I would be too. But feeling is to manage expectations. Timing is weird, some players did not have really any holidays, some couple of weeks, then we gonna have another pause before Premier League starts. Hard to tell how its gonna affect our league form come August.

Anyway Im happy to watch our games any day, so happy to see us so early this year. In case we win, would be a great trophy actually and hopefully put us on right track for whole 2025/26 campaign.

I think the way it’s going is there will no longer be a pre season. As a club I would look at giving one or two players two weeks off during the season with a further week training then back in the squad.
Use this process so all players get a full two weeks during the course of what is becoming a 12 month season.
It would be ideal to have their two week break during injury, niggles or suspension.
