Kind of surprised to see Rodri in so many predicted XI's. I know he's been training with the squad for a little while now, but part of me thinks he won't even play in this tournament. I reckon Pep doesn't risk it even if the prize is however many tens of millions.

I have zero idea how we'll line up, but I don't imagine players who played a lot for their countries will start. I'll go with:

Ederson
Nunes Khusanov Stones O'Rieley
Nico Reijnders
Bobb Foden Savinho
Marmoush

Rodri was ready to play a month ago. I think he was ready to play some minutes even earlier, but the medical staff and Pep decided to be cautious (and rightly so). Pep wouldn't have given him munutes in the high-intensity, must-win game vs. Bournemouth if he wasn't completely fit. I'd be surprised if Rodri didn't start in some games, especially vs weaker opposition.

Agree but I think he might actually play against stronger opposition too.

Hopefully Pep will pick fresh & young starting Eleven

Rest the senior ones who just played with their national teams apart from the new 3 signings.

He'll be played very sparingly. It's only still been just 9 months since the injury. It's still very early for an ACL.

A scholar no quite. A football fan of different tactics around the World definitely. One of the most interesting matches I’ve ever seen was City v Fluminense.
I was playing, but yes I agree; Fluminense played a completely different style of football that we are used to watching.

We’re in Greece right now and the kick off times are all over the shop. Bayern just finished and waiting for PSG to start.
