I dont think there has ever been a 9. Or if there has, it hasnt been for many years, possibly Decades. Shame the cloub has built up ove the past few hours.

typically it peeked at 6.45 this morning with red alerts on aurora watch UK, meaning visible in all areas of the UK. It must have hit level 7 or 8 kp

Where do you keep getting these current and up to date KP figures from?
