So you have to buy a ticket to buy a ticket?

But if you do choose to hand over cash upfront then you get first refusal for bigger matches. I wasn't a Seasoncard holder for 10/11 so I didn't get to Wembley.

No - what is being suggested is that you have to pay £25 to get priority (old citycard) and £10 to pe able to purchase a ticket (old access)
 
All thses new card names an' prices are givin' me a headache , i'm all confused and we're not even in August yet .... can't i just pay at the turnstiles an' stand on me box at the back , like i did in the early seventies????

Life was so much simpler back then .......

The only thing better with a Citycard than an Access card is you get loyalty points and discount in the shop.

As for priority, Citycard holders got about four hours in advance to buy tickets before they went on general sale. Not much priority there.
