XR Rebellion

I'm on my way to Mod towers and im planning on chaining myself to Rics server. I'm going to pull the plug on the brexit thread for 24 hours as the disruption to half a dozen posters lives will be fucking immense.
Great!
And the added bonus of saving the planet too, you truly are a thoughtful, caring individual.

Haha you trolling fucker ;-)

We sell Organic and Natural Health and Beauty products for a living so its folk like this that are our target audience and customer base.

Scenes on here when posters discover through a company called Ecologi, we have planted 124 trees in the last 2 months via a percentage of our sales on the website in Madagascar and that we use nothing but fully recycled packaging and materials and that the vast majority of our products are Organic, Natural, Vegan, Recyclable, Zero Waste and fully certified as such.

I probably do more for the environment than 99% of you on here.

Dancing outside of the Palace i have no issue with, its a bit of fun and a laugh at the same time as getting publicity but protests like stopping the papers is a bit fucking stupid.

When Dawn Butler thinks its great, you know it really fucking isn't.

Can I link my site boss? All visits and possible sales are most welcome in these dark, hard, brexit times? ;-)

We are looking at getting into tree planting to ofset some of the travel costs our consultants use. Loads of firms are doing it and hopefully it makes a big difference

A guy who’s been at it for years put us on to it. Whilst doing your bit for the planet you get loads of good marketing material as well

It costs as little or as much as you like, is a very good cause and it is an important marketing tool for us in our sector no doubt. We have a button on our site that shows how many trees have been planted and how customer purchases effects.

This sort of action I have no problem with whatsoever, it's brilliant, and your company deserves to prosper.

Delaying a few papers being printed one morning hardly registers on the top 100 list of disruptive protests staged in this country.

To be spouting bollocks about it being an affront to democracy and a free press is laughable.

A free press is vital. This has zero impact on it.

Pissing myself laughing at The Sun and the PM accusing them of denying a free press. Oh the fucking irony.
Heartless bastards

The Murdoch press and governments identical responses, even using the same buzzwords, really has undermined any negative feeling towards this stunt.

And the absurdity of claiming paper boys needed laying off because one saturday's papers were delivered a few hours late, and then posting that on social media and your online news website really does take the piss.

Of course, go for it mate.

You mean forcing people to go to www.thesun.com or turning on their TV to 24 hour a day news instead of buying a newspaper isn't equivalent to obstructing a free press?

They are a bunch of wankers who in the past have blocked roads and stopped people getting to the hospital too see family members before they pass away

The principle behind the protest is absolutely right and i have no issue with anyone joining it.

Why they feel direct, militant action is the way to go and to win hearts and minds which this movement has to do if real change is to be made i cant grasp because they have to understand, its doesnt endear much sympathy and it switched many off as they get pissed off by them.

It's not the effect of this action on the free press that's the problem, these people haven't affected that to much extent. It's the next disruptive stunt, and the ones after that, that now need stamping on, we no longer have the time, money, or human resources to keep responding to this nonsense, thankfully, a good few of these, 63 of them, have been arrested. Charges need bringing and punishments issued to deter these fringe activists, rising in severity with each offence.

Looks good mate, being me, I immediately went to the 'Intimate Products' range,
too see Organic Apricot Shaving Soap. For the thick end of £30 quid, I would want to personally attend to the front bottoms of Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook as part of the deal ;)
Good to hear it's going well, I'll spread the word.

There is no price you can put on the comfort of your intimate area as well you know.

Shave with cheap soap at your peril! ;-)

Thankfully I have never attended to my bits in such a cavalier fashion and prefer au naturel. Plus at £30 quid a pop I'd need to spend about £120 ;)

I wonder if everyone has done what she asked here?

It was last year, so there should be a ragged skeleton outside wherever it is now.

That's been the argument throughout history from those seeking to restrict protest.

Charges will be brought, as they should be, if crimes have been committed.

However, the exaggerated outrage (here and from johnson) over a small protest for a relatively benign cause (we are not talking the EDL here or radical anarchists - but they too have a right to protest) which will likely end up on the right side of history (as have many protesters in this country's history) is a bit angry old man-ish.
