XR Rebellion

I don't doubt that, and certainly don't want protesting stopped. I do want it stopped when it moves to anarchy, destruction or affects life and livelihood.

This protest barely registers high on the anarchy, destruction and damage to life and livelihood scale.

It seems designed to generate maximum publicity for minimum impact on the public.

The false insinuations of it registering high on the anarchy, destruction and damage to life and livelihood scale come from the mildly affected industry that is (understandably) biased in parts and morally compromised in some parts. Not to mention a grandstanding, cheap PM that knows painting environmental protesters as workshy layabouts is always a way of scoring cheap support in some sections.

I have no idea what they want people to do, or companies to do other than what they are already doing.

I don't really care if climate change is real, the green way in many respects is the way to go because being sustainable and non-polluting is always best.

But who is arguing for these alternatives because these lot lying in the street and annoying people aren't. It's just another excuse to have a go at companies, have a go at capitalism and have a go at a way of life they hate.

Next week they'll be on an anti-war march and the week after that they'll be on a socialism march. Maybe instead they should get jobs in the green sector and start actually contributing to societies response to the problem.

Maybe they do contribute. And what’s wrong with an anti-war march? Better than a pro-war march. ‘Yay, let’s bomb people and kill them, it will be cool!’

We have been selling on Amazon and Ebay for a while but the website is only 6 weeks old and any critique and suggestions from people with some experience on web design etc will be always welcome.

Treating the wife and family will also be nice and anyone wanting to buy, there is a pop up that will give you a 10% discount at the checkout and free shipping on any orders over £20.

All power to the business, although it does make me think of Roderick Spode, the 7th Earl of Sidcup.

A couple of immediate observations, the landing page does ’sprawl’ to the edge of the screen and looks a bit ‘too busy’, items descriptions below the top slider are a bit wordy, and the top slider jumps to the next one a bit too quick for me. I’d go for 10 secs rather than 5. Allows the eye time to process when you get there.

Thanks for that feedback, it honestly is really appreciated.

I've just googled Spode you twat lol

They are a bunch of wankers who in the past have blocked roads and stopped people getting to the hospital too see family members before they pass away
A world class lunge for the moral high ground. You didn’t even bother using kids, it was dead relatives. Impressive work.

Yeah, sorry, just couldn’t resist it :)

Site loads really quick, though it did hang a bit on the PC as it was loading ‘lemon app’? which I think is your ‘subscribe’ pop up when you first go to the site? But the loading speed is excellent.

Also the top right three icons, there is no rollover description (this is on Chrome browser) so I had to press the last one as I had no idea what it was. It was the cart so now I know the icon makes sense (yeah, okay it’s a bag), but until then I was clueless. Women will understand the icon more readily than a bloke though.

I had to do the same with the second one (login).

Edge to edge ‘sprawling’ means the page lacks a focal point. ‘Boxing’ it narrows it down, focuses it and makes it tidier in my opinion.

Looks good on a phone and I used a small iPhone to view it.

Finally no dotcom domain as well?

Haha you trolling fucker ;-)

We sell Organic and Natural Health and Beauty products for a living so its folk like this that are our target audience and customer base.

Scenes on here when posters discover through a company called Ecologi, we have planted 124 trees in the last 2 months via a percentage of our sales on the website in Madagascar and that we use nothing but fully recycled packaging and materials and that the vast majority of our products are Organic, Natural, Vegan, Recyclable, Zero Waste and fully certified as such.

I probably do more for the environment than 99% of you on here.

Dancing outside of the Palace i have no issue with, its a bit of fun and a laugh at the same time as getting publicity but protests like stopping the papers is a bit fucking stupid.

When Dawn Butler thinks its great, you know it really fucking isn't.

Can I link my site boss? All visits and possible sales are most welcome in these dark, hard, brexit times? ;-)
Fucking hell, you have no idea how much this tickles me.

Why not put a message on your home page telling your customers of your support for Brexit and Johnson? Maybe give reasons why and how their lives will be improved to ensure you get a boost in sales. It worked for Tim Martin ;-)

I was in Salisbury on Thursday - anti mask rally ( well anti everything TBH ) in the City square - yes they impeded peoples progress across the square - their loudhailers and speeches weren't encouraging business in the outdoor seating areas of coffee shops and those on the fringes accosting people who passed by who were wearing masks to demand why they were being controlled by the govt was a bit of an issue but everyone let them get on with it - no-one came out from Costa to complain, no-one found it annoying to divert up back streets to circumvent none mask wearing people shouting in their faces as it was their right to protest. I think their message is wrong and dangerous but they are entitled to a view.

Interestingly the grifters were there grifting encouraging donations to their movement and getting people to sign up to another rally in London later this month - the latest in a series. When they meet do they march on pavements or do they obstruct the road? In doing so do they divert ambulances as a result? If so where is Guido Fawkes filming that and where is the moral outrage on here? Just asking like.
Spot on. It's the same on Facebook. The same people expressing outrage at XR blocking roads etc are suspiciously quiet if a load of antimaskers or RWNJs are doing similar.

Brexit? Johnson? Martin? Tell customers I voted for Leave?

You ok Dave?

What do they contribute? Do you remember when they stopped a 100% green train from running in London?

There's nothing wrong with it, the point I'm making is they do a lot of marches and annoy a lot of people yet don't really achieve much.

Some say they achieve awareness but has the public and business being energised to change by XR annoying them or rather have they used their own brains to work it out themselves?

So you support what those morons did ?
Yes mate. I’d be happy to sacrifice a few human lives, and destroy a few deathbed farewells just to disco dance in the street. Of course I would. I wouldn’t mind if they sacrificed a few babies or cuddly animals too. I’m glad we understand each other.

Of course all papers have a political slant, but the Mail's entire business model is based around publishing clickbait as a means to sell premium rate advertising space. You'll be trying to tell me next that bot farms don't actually exist, or Leveson 2 might not have addressed the issue before it was binned.

Incidentally, do you have a link to the particular piece of legislation you referred to? I would be interested to see it.
The Mirror's content is based on the same principle, the difference being it applies a left wing slant to its content, and I'm not trying to tell you anything whatsoever about some dreamt up scenario.
If you print lies about someone you can be sued for libel, it happens regularly.

This is your interpretation of events, that comes from a belief in what they're doing, there has most certainly been an outcry, and 63 of these idiots have been arrested. What is peaceful, reasonable or acceptable about a protest that results in mass arrests? Many arranged marches occur here without the ridiculous stunts carried out by this shower, or without dozens of arrests or property damage. But you support them, which is your choice, I would suggest the overwhelming majority don't.

Good for you mate. Your green credentials seem impeccable. Had a look at your website and it looks fine. You need a section to say more about you and your business, your ethos, green credentials. I always look for one before I buy. Particularly anything that claims to be 'green' or 'organic'. Many business's include photos, video or a blog to keep repeat customers interested and engaged. Good luck anyhow.
