Can't believe he really wants away back to Barca (Daily Express back page today). More London-based, rag-loving media propoganda attempting to unsettle our team.
that is the shit of a bull. He may go back to finish his career, which leaves him here for his best years till his mid 30s

The point is, I think that he has said that he would like to finish his playing career at Barca, but that seems to have given the london desparate raggies a shot at claiming that he is offski at the final whistle v QPR...they wish....!!!

sad straw clutching, and as you rightly point out, BP, another attempt to stirr negative shyte in the run up to D Day !!!!

TBF when he signed he said he would like to go back, nothing has changed as far as I am concerned, while he has been with us we have won FA cup we might win prem and hopefully he might spurs us on to CL sucess. If by the time he is 30 we have won those three major tournaments and Barca want him back and he is at the end of his contract he can go with my blessing.

The way mancini uses him at the mo is spot on, its like putting a middleweight in the ring and sending four flyweights in for the first six rounds to give him the run around and knacker him out.

Then send a heavyweight in to knock the fucker OUT!

Would you get in his way if he was running at ya? Would you fuck!

I aslo think because of how Yaya is built, if he played an advanced role every match he would knackered by March. Or he would need to be subbed at 70th minute mark in a lot of matches, when we need him to help close out matches. So (my theory) Mancini saves the advanced Yaya for big matches.

I think it's all fantasy talk, we've heard it all before of players saying they'd like to finish their career in such-and-such a place (Tevez at Boca Juniors, etc.).

Look at Barca's central midfield options:

Xavi (32)
Keita (32)
Iniesta (27)
Mascherano (27)
Fabregas (25)
Busquets (23)
Thiago (21)

Their midfield has so much talent that Mascherano plays in defence now and Fabregas has started about 15 games from the bench this season.

By the time Yaya's contract expires he will be 32 and only Keita from that list will be guaranteed to have left the club (Xavi will play until his late 30s, IMO) and they probably will have signed or produced another player or two by then, leaving little room for a returning Yaya on big wages.
