Yaya is an incredible footballer. You build a team around players of that quality rather than try to shoe horn them into the team and expect them to spend a lot of time doing something they are not so good at.

The same can be said of Silva. The question is, which of them would you rather build the team around?

Fair point but I don't see how you cannot build a team around both of them.

It's hard to accommodate both of them in their best position without sacrificing a lot of width, but yes, it's not inconceivable.

This is actually a very interesting situation.

To see how we operate without the kid who, let's face it, has been 'the man' in our team for 4 seasons.

It'll give the club a glimpse at how things would be if he was out for an extended period.

I think it will be an eye opener and a half and help to inform our summer business.

Could well be a blessing in disguise, long term.

To replace Yaya is hard lets be honest it will be a long term scouting mission. I think if we look at Yaya and other midfielders not many would score as many as Yaya. I see it more of not replacing Yaya moving either Silva or Nasri middle might work in the long term. Saying that I would love us to sign Toni Kroos only what 24 and is a class midfielder. IF he is to leave Bayern then I hope we are at the top of list and get him in. I think that is a much needed midfield addition to give competition to Yaya in the future and Ferd.

You know what, I actually think it is better to just sell him so people will end this conflict when it comes to Yaya. Sell him and get someone else that everybody can like completely and not see as a someone to tolerate because he tends to deliver for the club when it really matters and is probably the best player in the league.

Yes I'm fucking serious we bossed the so called champions elect without him and we've got 6 games most at home against worse teams than the dippers. We have cover for him so why don't you calm down and let people have an opinion other than the 'Yaya turns up for the big game' mantra?
