Wumming/trolling won't be tolerated. Fans of other clubs are welcome, as long as they are open about who they support and have a thick skin. Masquerading as a City fan won't be tolerated.
Forum rules @DaveRocky
Thanks Kaz. Now we "know" that there is something in the rules, hopefully more 'MASSIVELY convincing' for DaveRock, and if domalino posts a perfectly good response that I agree with, I don't feel the need to repeat it.

No that is the rule that covers rival fans in full,Ric is the owner who sets the rules and he has posted to you above so take notice of him

Good job I haven't infringed on any of the rules then I'd say.

You want me to answer your question, and your first point is to tell me that I'm posting "bollocks" without any substantiation other than to refer to someone else's points? I think I've seen more compelling persuasion tactics than that in my time. I've replied to domalino's post with my responses, and I believe they show that domalino's post did not make very strong points. You "think" there is something in the forum rules? Again, not massively convincing reasoning.

Frankly you are talking bollocks. Whist Toure's defensive lapses are often evident, they certainly weren't Saturday.
People think you're talking bollocks because there's no context to your post. You freely admit to not watching the game.

As I asked, if I considered Lloris utter shite after watching Saturday's highlights would you value my opinion. Or woud you try to apply a little context o his performance?

I find it odd that someone who hasn't even seen the game would come on a forum to lay blame at the door of a player who carries no blame.
You don't even put forwards a coherent argument, you're not even sure which player he should track. First he should pick up Eriksson then Son.
Finally you come on to slate YaYa and ask if he's the best we've got whilst also acknowledging that we have two key players out in that position. You fail to put your considered mistake into any form of context because you've not watched the match.

I guess many posters are wondering what motivation you have to come on and have a pop at Toure after his most impressive display since 2014.

Read it again

Read it yourself again and stop assuming that covers me. Also stop assuming I haven't been open about who I support just because I don't jump to answer the question every time it is asked.

FYI @snorky from the forum rules.
  • Avoid getting into personal arguments and derailing threads. Please keep it to private messages or, if necessary, use the ignore function.
  • Don't needlessly flap or overreact to things, particularly in the Matchday and Transfer forums. Football's obviously an emotive game, but there's no need for hysterical overreactions. It doesn't solve anything, and tends to cause arguments.
  • Don't abuse or personally insult other members. Treat fellow users with respect.

Go on lad, tell us,unless you are embarrassed to do so of course, curiosity is killing me here,I have my suspicions who he could be,but I want to be amused,go on,tell us it's S****horpe or Rotherham then we can all relax

But you seem to me to be creating a straw man argument. I didn't ever say that Toure is utter shite. I stated my opinion of his decision that I feel, if he'd made a different decision, the goal was preventable. I'm sorry if you don't want to discuss in game decision making, it happens to interest me and I hope it will help me to be a better player.

I think that my points are coherent. I think that Toure should mark Eriksen in the first phase and that could block the attack, keep Kolarov in position etc. Having not done that, as Son makes his run, I believe that Toure could and should at least try to keep on him.

I don't accept that I slated Toure. I asked the question because I'm interested in how good Man City fans think Delph and Fernando are if they're fit. I'm failing to see a problem there.
