He's been an amazing player for us over the years and was instrumental for all our recent success that we have had.
Probably our best "big game" player that we have had.
FA Semi and Final for our first trophy, League cup final, Newcastle away, Everton away...just to name a few!
Of all the bullshit that has surrounded him in recent years, nobody can doubt his commitment on the field.
^This, at his best it was almost like pressing a cheat mode button. He's been an amazing player for us over the years and was instrumental for all our recent success that we have had.

Says it all perfectly KazWhilst i don't particularly like him as a person he has been a giant for us,i still have games on my planner that i watch now and then and he was a monster for us,deserves a good send off at one of the home games, hope people remember him in his prime and how he has played a huge part in getting us to where we are today
Absolutely agree.. I never thought I’d ever see a better player in sky blue than Colin Bell but we’ve been graced by two immense talents of the modern game in recent years who have surpassed even his greatness.. David Silva and Yaya Toure. Forget the ‘Cakegate’ nonsense, Yaya has been outstanding for us..the pleasure, the privilege has been mine and I tip my hat to him.. we should celebrate his contribution.. City without ‘The Big Man’ will be like Bruce Springsteen without Clarence Clemons..He deserves a similar send off to Zabaleta, and the Brighton game would be the obvious choice. One of our all-time greats.
He's the most over-rated player in City's history .
FUCKING HELL !!!He's the most over-rated player in City's history but of course he deserves to get a Zaba-like send off, by being captain for the last game. We can always take him off if it's losing us the game and he gets his big ovation.

I'll never forget that goal against villa which pretty much sowed up the second title. Immense that season and probably should have won player of the year
And to say I used to read and respect your posts once upon a time .He's the most over-rated player in City's history but of course he deserves to get a Zaba-like send off, by being captain for the last game. We can always take him off if it's losing us the game and he gets his big ovation.
