Ramadan is obviously about fasting but this includes fluids.
Surely these guys must abstain or something otherwise they would be in some danger if playing during Ramadan and not being able to take on water during training or a game?
He looked shattered today and it was one of his worst games in a city shirt , he didn't impose himself and he seemed lazy in everything that he did . Lets hope he does up his game for next week with the rest of the team or the Swans could nick something.
I have a big problem with this. Players are paid huge wages to be at there peak fitness. These players that fast during the Ramadan are nowhere near there peak fitness during this time. I know there is not a lot the club can do about it I just wish that the players would just knock it on there head as it would benefit them longterm.
It can't benefit them longterm if they put their religious feeling before anything else. Any there are loads of them who do exactly that.
Muntari's career probably went down significantly after Mourinho excluded him from Inter's team with poor Ramadan performances as a reason but I doubt he cared too much.
