Yaya Toure apologises

To be honest, I'm still sort of hoping that there's some kind of compromise with Yaya leaving in January, but maybe playing at the swamp, and giving us the opportunity to thank him publicly.

Regardless of the recent farce, Yaya should be remembered as a hero.

If he isn't (and the likelihood is that, by a section of our support, he won't be), then he's got two people to thank/blame for that. That leech hanging on to his coat tail, and himself for not distancing himself from Seluk's comments.

Him and seluk have met their match in pep, they thought they could take the piss to the end

So a million pound a month until the end of June, then another million severance pay at the end plus loyalty bonus is really showing him by Pep. He should not have got publicly involved.

His contract is up so he won't get severence pay,i'm sure we are only paying him the very basic we can as he won't be getting the performance related bits,he was taking the piss the last 2 seasons and mp was too weak to do anything about it,he has defamed the club and it had to stop, pep is the boss and what he says goes and that is how it should be

Contract run until 30th June, if you are not or the retained list and don't get another club you get a month's severance pay. That is normal for all pro-contracts.

In the Pep<>Yaya dynamic I don't think this has any relevance at all.

Pep will see it something for the excel folks to sort out. Yaya won't really give a damn.

The leverage is 1st 11 playing time on the pitch and that's where Pep holds all the aces. Yaya is rapidly becoming an irrelevance if he's not careful.

Which, for someone who has contributed so richly to City's recent successes, is a travesty.
