Yaya Toure apologises

As it stands yaya is on a£1/m for turning up for training if no one comes in for him in Jan then that's another £7m + bonuses.
If city arnt going to play him and yaya won't apologise something needs to be agreed as its not doing anyone any favours having yaya training around the first team squad .
Everyone has had their say now a solution needs to be found that would include a negotiated exit with his agent unfortunately

He won't be getting his full salary as the majority of the contracts are now on bonus related salaries and I can't see him getting his.

That's presuming that Yaya's was renegotiated and I don't think that that is a given, especially considering his 'agent'.

He won't be getting appearance money but I'd bet he's still picking up plentry of win bonuses etc for being part of the first team squad etc.
From memory arnt the bonuses pretty hard to fail getting hence why the players are happy to have them in their contracts ?

During the Tevez affair I read that if players are regularly not selected, miss a certain number of games when they are available, they have a right to have their contract paid up. Is that still the case and would it apply to Yaya?

You think our higher ups would have classed him as a special case when he last signed a new contract?

Can't see it myself.

A wonderful player and a wonderful career with us ruined by that **** of an agent. As soon as cake gate came about his legacy was undone. He still bitched pellers but pep will have none of it. Good on him I say.

Strange how the Mirror manages to interview fat boy but can't get a quote off Yaya. Yaya and fat boy need to learn that nobody is bigger than the club. Well done Pep for doing what should have been done probably two seasons ago
