Yaya Toure apologises

I'm not certain exactly what Pep's response means, but because he says it's great for City & great for Yaya, then I'm assuming he means he's back in the squad, otherwise it can't be 'great' for either.

If that's the case, then yes, I think we'll see him play. But it will be when required rather than any kind of publicity stunt. So right now, he's probably behind Aleix Garcia in the queue.

But Yaya is more of a goal threat, so that could influence Pep's thinking.

We have the shitty fucking international break coming up & we don't know how many players we will be left with afterwards.

Having an extra great footballer added to the squad is good news irrespective of some of the malicious nonsense on here.
If he was going to be back in the squad why would Pep says "you know my position, no change"?

I watched him say it,the agent came straight out yesterday and said he is not saying sorry and doesn't understand why yaya was, that is why despite yaya's statement, which i applaud him, on the situation remains the same
Seluk also said Yaya "probably doesn't mean it".

Putting his client first as always.

I don't think he was clear in what he said. He said that Yaya has continued to train and attend team meetings with the squad ie no change. There may be no turning back, ultimately I will always back the club in these type of things.

My feeling was that Yaya had done what Pep had asked and apologised but maybe Seluk then going straight on Talksport to contradict that makes Yaya's apology null and void in Pep's eyes. Who knows.

Irrespective I would still hope that peace can be found and Yaya can play a part in what looks like will be his last season with the club. I just don't want my memories of Yaya and that period tarnished so I hope that a reconciliation can be found and that Yaya's apology is enough to do that.

Honestly believe this is being wrongly read by the media and our supporters. I think the real story here will come out eventually. I reckon Yaya wants rid of this Seluk but he has some kind of hold over him and can't sack him. Pep and our club are actually fighting Yaya s corner. I reckon Pep is showing support for Yaya and fighting back on his behalf. In my opinion Pep knows Seluk is taking advantage of the player. When Pep says "I know Yaya for a long time" it is showing there is no animosity between the 2. This Seluk is a reptile and Pep is trying to expose him on Yaya' s behalf.

He was very clear, he said Seluk had to apologise.

You sure!? If so fair enough, but I'm not sure I really understand why Pep is so bothered about what an agent has to say. Most of them are snakes in the grass.
