Spectacular way to destroy any future he had as a football agent, whilst also hugely damaging his clients ability to earn in the future. Well done Dimitri, at least you got to pretend to be a big man though so I'm sure it's all worth it.
Long time overdue his slimey low life agent has been throwing a aspersions and insults at our football club and management for years , and Yaya has stood by and condoned his agents behaviour , thanks for everything Yaya ,its been a blast. Don't let the door hit your big fat wallet on the way out
Your analogy is incomplete. An employer that doesn't want me but only keep me around because we've signed a contract that states I have to be paid an amount no one else is willing to pay, isn't an employer I am too worried about pleasing. Perhaps Yaya is. But I wouldn't be. We know, and I'm assuming Yaya knows that the only reason he is still here is because no other team will take on his contract. The moment that contract expires he'd be jettisoned. More likely than not, Yaya would not get paid 200 or 250k which ever absurd amount it is anywhere else he goes. SO why would Yaya be interested in pleasing an employer who doesn't want him but are simply stuck with him?
I'm not trying to be difficult here, but when I put myself in Yaya's situation, I see no value in backing down. Is not as if Yaya is a starter who has been removed from the team for bad behaviour. He is an overpaid fringe player who can barely make the team on his best behavior. If I were him, I'd simply put my feet up and collect on the last year of a never to be had again plump salary. As for my employer's assessment (same employer that really has no need for me and would rather i was gone?) I could give a rats ass about what it thinks vindicates it.
I guess I'm a pro worker anti-management kinda dude. And this spills into every aspect of my life. I love City as the club I support, but at a base level I am still a "fuck Management" type of dude. And just to be clear, you don't need to have been a dick to be sent to the kiddie pitch. It's a business. Moanihno sent Shweinshwein to play with t he youth kids even though he never said a bad word. Pep wanted Joe out even though he never said a bad word. These actions are not wrong even though folks felt a raw emotional reaction to them. That's simply what managemet does. When you are not needed, they want you out. tthat's just life. I'd be hard pressed to give 2 fucks about an organization, any organization that wants me out. But then again, that's just me. I can be a **** for my own interest like that.
Time for Toure to show some balls now. Does he want to play for us again (notwithstanding he doesn't warrant a place in the side at the moment ), or is he happy to be his agent's lapdog?
