Thank god none of you run our club.

I shudder to think how some of you get through each day with all the flapping, panicking and general grabbing of pitchforks.

Not having a go boys, but, where do you draw the line?......at what point do you stop players or their agents taking the piss?......something needs to be done otherwise everyone will be at it.

Only this ... tbh the age he's at I'm content with whatever the club do. Sell him ... keep him. Doesn't really matter. In a way I'd rather he was sold, but sadly I think there isn't even a buyer out there who wants him and his agent so we're going to have to keep him.

I hope we go and buy another central midfield player regardless to challenge for a starting place in our best XI.

feel the same. he's an incredible player........when he feels like it. the biggest crime in the game is when you have such talent but don't use it if you can't be arsed. the game has been littered with that type of player over the years. stan bowles, Rodney marsh and of course the irish piss head being the worse case.
yaya could have cashed in on last season but in the right way, not with money but as in a legacy. he could have seen his contract out, on good money as we know, and left here a legend with the status of colin bell. silly silly lad.

he'll never get the last few days back, tarnished now and ridiculed the world over.

laters yaya.

Bill, we are yet to hear a single word from Toure in any substantial format. 140 characters on Twitter is devoid of context. Trust the club to control this. I appreciate we have previous with other mercenary footballers. But this has turned into a ridiculous storm out of nothing substantial. To say his reputation at City is tarnished now is hugely over the top.

Let the bollocks of the slow news day period settle and once the press have something to chase (World Cup prep over the next couple of weeks) this will merely be fish and chip paper rubbish.

This is not absolving Toure of any responsibility. In hindsight the Twitter thing would not have happened. But its given radio phone ins and papers shit to sell/dish up and in the real world we continue living as normal. Champions. A phenomenal footballer who has contributed towards it. The most important signing we made since Mansour took over. And still an integral part of the best spine in English football.

The ethical debate over modern football will continue and fan romanticism and nostalgia for the days of local heroes is that ... nostalgia.

you might well be right, you probably are but yaya could have killed this stone dead. in 5 seconds flat. one call, one tweet, one interview, anything to make this go away. the fact he hasn't could be he's right behind it, or at best enjoying it. enjoying dragging our club through the mill a week after being crowned champions.

sorry mate he's a ****.

well for a start he's nowhere near our best player, perhaps this is his problem, his ego hasn't got over that aguerooooooo moment and he wished it was him. he was't even on the pitch. i'll tell you something else. yaya starts limping the moment we go behind, just in case a loss is likely as he wants no part of it. if the **** does stay watch for it next season.

he's dissed our club, he is but a visitor and should respect the hospitality the club offer during that visit. we on the other hand are the very DNA of the club and will be here long after this and in fact any other visitor has come and gone. just ask Mario and tevez.

show some respect yaya, you could start by sacking your leech of an agent.

What I find amazing is that this **** was still giving interviews yesterday afternoon! If Yaya felt even an ounce of remorse for the shit this clown had said, he'd just tell him to shut up and call Txiki. Instead this fucking wannabe Borat is still making a mockery of himself and his client. Apparently Pellegrini didn't wish him a happy birthday nor did they send his wife or mum some flowers! Apparently he wants a technical role like Zidane after he leaves the club. Apparently he doesn't want another "pound" in wages or a longer contract just more fucking love. We need motivated professionals at the club - not needy little kids like Tevez and Balo who constantly need to feel like the world revolves around them.

Re: Yaya Toure

Presumably the friendly at Dundee in July is part of the deal taking YaYa up north?

I respect your opinion, I just think 'dragging our club through the mill' is a bit extreme. Its just unwelcomed. But most fans of other clubs via social media platforms haven't laughed at City, they have laughed at Toure and if anything are envious we have him and would love a piece.

City will make sure a proper PR job is done in due course with Toure smiling happily for the cameras and they will construct a narrative which centres on a 'mis understanding' regardless of whether it was or not. I understand some fans frustrations and a need for loyalty and respect. I just think those two virtues are somewhat lacking in the modern game generally thus it is extreme to get hung up on them. Those days are generally gone. Only rare examples remain.

But the answer is not to just get rid of him.
