That's a helluva lot of words to say fuck all. Can anyone précis this in one short para?

In essence <BR abp="797"><BR abp="798">Players are fickle and spoilt, and we are ruining English players by not playing them in our side.

I read it and thought it said exactly the opposite; that its the fault of players, eg Rodwell, that they don't live up to expectation.
The author reckons that Toure turned down Arsenal, did a few clubs in Europe, and ended up a better player for it. Also that Rodwell's opposite numbers v German u19's progressed better than him.The inference being that if English youngsters were looking to reach the top as footballers as opposed to reaching the top by simply being at a top club, they would be better footballers for what they had learned along the way.

Nowhere in it did I come across a slight against City. Not even a little dig. I didn't go back and read it a second time to check - its not that good - so may have missed one, but I'm fairly sure there wasn't one.

To be fair though, its written in such a flowery, over worded, ambiguous and imprecise way that you have to be able (and take the time to) distil the meaning from the vague ramlings he has written.

Yep same with Micah and the fact Zab is now one of the best RBs in world - Milner I have some sympathy with - think he could've started more games.

Obs, he had a cob on cos he didn't want to go to Abu Dhabi in first place, especially as he single handidly won us the league and he had abad leg and it was his birthday.
