Yaya Toure - commits future to City (page 855)

I am hoping he has realised what he was about to lose & is out to prove to everyone he is the best midfielder in Europe. Maybe there will be a few less 'where's Yaya?' Games.

If Yaya wants to win back the fans respect he can easily do this by announcing that he's retiring from international football
and won't be playing in the ACON. I think more importantly, for him, this would help build a few bridges with Txiki & Soriano.
The bullshit that his agent came out with was aimed directly at senior members of the club not the fans. Even Yaya
must realise now that "his card is marked". Bullshit stories in the press about him turning down a move to United fool
nobody, least of all the senior executives that he has "disrespected."

So; has he pissed off yet?

Sorry?

Say that again?

Are you sure?

No wonder the media write the shit they do when there are thickos like those on this thread.

There never was a story it's all lies designed to destabilise our club.

Stop reading shite papers and sucking it up or you're no better than the rags who write it.

I genuinely wish I could be as naive as yourself.

I hope the point is made forcibly to everyone at the Etihad that there is never any excuse for upsetting a Bluemooner. Never. Not a single justifiable reason. Now some might think patience and sympathy are called for in certain circumstances. Never. Players must always watch what they say. Even when their kid brother is terminally ill. Even if he dies. That's no excuse for feeling confused or angry or even guilty. Even less for feeling the world is against you and lashing out at those who are trying to support you. No, most important is to stop those on Bluemoon being apoplectic about birthday cakes.

Ya Ya has had one hell of a close season. How surprising that he didn't play particularly well in Brazil. How strange he often seemed tetchy. What a pity that some who stayed at home were a bloody lot worse.

He must have been mourning one of Stevie Irelands grannies last year when he pulled the same trick.

R.I.P Granny number 3

The thing with your modern footballer is that by and large they are bellends. Yaya Toure did not grow up dreaming of emulating Gary Flitcroft in the famous sky blue. He, like almost every professional footballer at a top side, plays for the club because we've got a great team capable of winning things and he gets well paid. You of course get your odd exceptions, but they are few and far between and it's their rarity is which makes us appreciate them so much, Zaba being the obvious example. Yaya's shown himself up to be an utter cock but he happens to be an utter cock who's exceptionally good at football. If the club want him go stay, which seemingly they do, and he continues to perform on the pitch then I'll cheers his goals like any other player but he, like Tevez will be somebody I'll never consider to be blue.

873 pages of flapping; no one knowing for certain what was said. Yaya stays happy days.

Fuck all this whining and arguing.....get practising the song now!...''If we knew you were staying we'd have baked a cake, baked a cake, baked a cake,if we knew you were staying we'd have baked a cake, baked a cake for you!....Ya Ya,Ya Ya Ya Ya,Ya Ya Ya Ya,Ya Ya Ya Ya Toure!!''

It's great news he's committed for this season. The agent made some daft comments, but I can understand Yaya being upset at himself and with City.

Time to move on

So Toure flashes his knickers to all and sundry across Europe. When everyone takes a look at the cost, they all politely tell him and his agent no thanks. He comes back to City with his ego between his legs. Absolute fucking tosser.

He needs to make sure he does it on the pitch next season. Beyond that I'm not arsed one bit about it.

If he was 5 years younger and had just put a season in like his last one, we'd be looking at the sort of money that Bale went for.

and the rest...

The prick is still not getting my vote for player of season.

I bet he'll be losing sleep over that.
He is the player of the season, regardless of what a few pearl clutchers think.
I think this daft thread can now be safely consigned to cyberspace now, and then we can ask Samaritans to set up a helpline for those still suffering their hourly 'Yaya Is A c**t' posting withdrawal symptoms.
Oi, I donate to the Samaritans, I don't want my money mollycoddling the grown-up nappies brigade. Mind you, it would be funny if we had our own version of that rag who called the police over Moyes.
