Did he mention if he likes marzipan though ?

Did he also mention that City can't win the title without him, or that Txiki and Soriano will have to sweep Trafalgar Square as a forfeit?

Did he also insist that our owner can't buy his loyalty?

As far as Toure is concerned: "My agent speaks for me."

any truth in chat about a yaya to barca and cesc to us deal tolm?

Not at this stage, certainly not the last week, despite people linking us with Fabregas.

The Yaya situation may have caught us on our heels, so anything is possible.

It is something I could live with, but Vidal is someone I would like to see try and fill the void.

A lot of emphasis needs to be focused on Fernando. If we can establish what his attributes are, then a creative type in Fabregas, we might be able to get away with.

I think Barca have already done the tapping up with Toure, following our game earlier this season.

It's hard to define a cash price for Toure, when you couple his peak season against his age.

Which is why the Fabregas deal would make plenty of sense, in terms of not having to wait until after the World Cup, to put an agreement in place.

Whether he would come, is another matter, although I am certain Txiki is already very close to his family.

Febregas would have a lot of friends in Manchester.

Re: Yaya Toure

Looking at the latest "I want to go to PSG" (more or less) crap on SSN are the quotes attributed to Yaya and the 'strange one' not word for word from an earlier interview where PSG weren't mentioned at all?

And if PSG do want him then £50 mill will do nicely, PSG probably would pay that too.

Re: Yaya Toure

Get 35 mil off PSG, throw in Rodwell and Barry, maybe some top-up cash from the kitty, and make Everton an offer they cant refuse for Ross Barkley...

Re: Yaya Toure

My brother just told me yaya was born on the day we lost to Luton and were relegated.
I'm not sure of his point aside from the fact we were both born there and he still follows them and they have just been promoted
Just a piece of useless info for you

In terms of wages, we could certainly afford to bring in two world class players for Yaya's overall package.

And it would obviously have the ultimate impact of bringing in someone younger, ensuring we are competitive a lot longer than waiting for Yaya's candle to burn out.

The only sour note for me is Yaya destroying his legacy.

I did not agree with handing him a four-year-deal last summer, based on his age.

Thankfully, it would appear Txiki's decision (someone Yaya and Seluk says does not respect him) made us fireproof with that decision.

The only sour note for me is Yaya destroying his legacy.

This is the sad part... because he was almost at the level of the King... and a couple of seasons more would have surpassed even Colin.

Nobody will surpass Colin as the king.......never

Realistically they will... I watched that team, and nobody has come close in 40 yrs... but this fella has.
And is a shame that he will never be revered in the same manner as King Colin now... But be realistic about his achievements and his impact

Re: Yaya Toure

On a positive note, PSG have set a very high bench mark with a 40/50 mil bid for Luiz.

Despite YaYa age, if Luiz is worth that then so is Yaya.

Still before Yaya to the cash.

Don't tell him Tolm.

Very good ;-)

Please tell Mr Hairdoo, I need YouTube based clues and talking cartoon bears, I love all that transfer stuff, that's all that's missing from this thread and of course where will Yaya be next season.

How do we 'throw in' Barry?...

Not an MCFC player anymore. He is a free agent.
