Not claiming to be ITK in the slightest as I hate the term itself but I'm just passing on what I've heard off a relative.

A relative of mine lives next door to a certain David Pleat (what he knows I haven't a clue) but he claims that Yaya's agent seems to be the reason for all this controversy.

Toure: "Nothing is planned for the time being. Too many things have annoyed me.

"It has been disappointing. I am just asking for some respect. I want to put things back into context. After the season I'd had, I needed to speak out."

Still no actual reference to City but plenty reinforcing his belief that everyone is against him.

How about you actually tell us what those 'things' actually are Yaya?

As much as yayas done himself no favours by not explaining his side of the story and as much as his agents an absolute leech of a human being, I still feel yaya has been,and some would say deservedly so,humiliated by a bored,struggling english sports orientated media.
I still feel this will blow over and yaya will vice captain us to our third title in four years.

He should never have been vice captain ahead of Zab anyway - bang out of order that! - He's hadn't earned the right ahead of Zab and he's a f*cking prima donna ....

4) Tell him if his attitude isn't spot on he will 4a) be on bench or 4b) not be selected at all

You are not being realistic or pragmatic here. You don't treat your best player like that and and expect him to continue to give you his best. He is more talented than Komp and Zab. He is acting childishly but so do the top players in the world and many are the captains of the their countries or clubs. Clubs and countries often give the captain's armband to the best player. There is nothing wrong with that. Yaya just needs his ego massaged.

He's still trying (and doing a very bad job of it) not to burn bridges in the hope that if PSG/ Monaco/ Barca don't actually come up with a decent offer he could still either get more dough from City or at least come back to us after the World Cup and be welcomed back into the fold.

He's playing very high stakes poker with a bad hand and bad advice.

Just been looking back at alot of our goals from last season yaya is involved in some way in nearly all of them not many players would be able to score the goals he did irreplaceable imo. Still should not have come out with all this shit! But yaya has still not actually said what is wrong just his big mouth agent who doesn't seem to know what day it is.

Of his 20 goals - 6 penalties and 4 free kicks ... OK the free kicks were pretty special .... Lets not carried away about one player - He's 31 and will he be able to reproduce another season at the same level? .... Also he's proved now what a complete an utter prick he is .... I always thought there was something of the prima donna about him watching him on the pitch, but as it turns out he's the epitome of the complete and utter tw*t modern footballer that I don't want to see in a City shirt, but on the other hand I would like City to dig their heels in and show Yaya who's the boss here, make him stay, leave him out of team if attitude is not right and deffo he should be nowhere near the vice captaincy and never should have been ....

Having said that if Monaco offer £30m take it and move on, it would be good business for a 31 year old IMO ...

All his statements involve the word 'I' .... I had a great season, I was disrespected .... the bloke is a cock !!

He's set that date after the World Cup to see if anyone comes in for him.

I'm quite upset with the whole saga and wish it never happened.

He is the best in the world when it comes to doing what he does, may be not for long but we could really use him for a couple more seasons

I was just watch videos on official site, the 10 season defining games and I'm really happy we had him in our team this season, and really want him here next season as well. Hope it can get solved, if we were able to forgive tevez and give him another chance we should be able to get though this saga and use him till we need him and get the best out of him

He was instrumental to the title win
