This is by far the strangest way of going about trying to get out of a club. I think a lot of us would of had more respect had he held his hands up at the end of the season and said he has done what he came here to do and wanted a new challenge. Don't see a way back for him from here although it wouldn't surprise me to see him back to normal and at his best again next season for us.

This is exactly the aim of that ridiculous claim. Him and his agent want to burn enough bridges so that the club has no option but to sell him.
It would be nice if he actually put in a transfer request, but then he'd lose his loyalty bonus.
Every time he comes out with disrespectful rubbish like this, another couple of million comes off his fee, or so he hopes.

Bang on. He is reportedly the highest earner at City approx £220k per week + some bonuses and still moaning for more. unbelievable. do we need to wipe his ass also? wouldnt be surprised if he next complains to the Sun that he doesn't get enough support for his toilet activities.

We should be all over Vidal or Pogba now. Sell CryBaby for £25m to PSG or Barca and buy Pogba or Vidal for £40m - £45m.
