Any club willing to pay £30m+ for Yaya Toure are indeed mugs.

I am not a fan of the no winger diamond formation with a defensive midfielder, 2x box-to-box midfielders and an attacking midfielder. I much prefer a Good defensive midfielder who can spread the play, such as Barry, with a box-tbox creative spark alongside them and a winger on either side. It's too narrow without wingers.

The holding player being dejong , the box to box players being yaya and barry and the attacking mid is yet to be decided in my eyes. If Johnson plays behind the strikers I think it will be in the free role so he'll be able to drift from wing to wing depending on where we're attacking. The only thing that bothers me about this is his fitness, he tired at the end of games last year and this role would take a lot of effort, maybe if Mancini is planning this for him he'll have him working hard over the summer to improve his fitness?

The only thing I will say is given the choice I would pay £30 million for Yaya before I would pay it for Milner!

unless stevie sorts himself out and does his intensive fitness regime . I reckon if stevie replicates 08/09 we indeed could be a force to be reckoned with

Chelsea won the league with that formation this season, you rely on the full backs to provide width. I'm a traditionalist too and enjoy a good 4-4-2 it's just not effective in today's game, hardly any top teams play 4-4-2 now.

25 mil for yaya in my oppinion,How come it seems we can never deal with barca???they seem to come across as a nice friendly club but any time they seem to do busneess they are actually greedy fuks.the only thing in our corner is that yaya wants to leave so they will have to accept a decent offer
