Yep!! Barcelona rejects would be as bad as the Madrid rejects, anyone remember what happened to those two Dutchmen since they left?

If Carlsberg did rejects

They'd be called Lionel Messi.

If he's deffo coming to Engerland, it's us, Arsenal or United IMO!

But it's not going to be United, though, because United don't intend to buy anyone.

Re: Yaya (Merged)

Ferguson, to my knowledge, has not ruled out any incoming transfers.

The agent has ruled out Arsenal, and I think we can rule out Chelsea as well as they have Essien and a very strong midfield. Liverpool are probably out ofthe running so that leaves City, Spurs and Utd.

-- Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:49 pm --

Yeah, he's not so much a reject as not getting the playing time he wants. They still play him but have a wealth of top class talent, so he doesn't start every game.

Seems like he's less a reject and more a cash cow for Cesc.
Agree. I think he's very effective for Barca, but I liken him to a young Vieira and that doesn't really suit their style of play. It's not so much that he isn't their best midfelder, but that some of his strengths don't suit Barca's game.

Just been reading that AS spanish newspaper Marvin, it's saying bacon chops will bid 20 mill for VDV. He see's him as the ideal replacement for Scholes.

That must be why Paul Scholes has just signed a year's extension to his contract.

Interesting. Good player. Mourinho picked up a bargain in Schneider taking advantage of the upheaval last Summer. If Mourinho makes some changes then the same thing could happen again

Not from what I have heard. He's just said there isn't much value in the mkt, and he wont be going mad in the transfer mkt this Summer - which doesn't mean he's not going to buy anyone.

-- Fri Jun 04, 2010 6:59 pm --

So how many games will he play next season? Logically less than this season, but he's still worth a squad place - likewise Giggs.

Well, we'll see soon enough.
