City have not released any kind of statement regarding yaya toure, from what i can gather certain media/journos have asked city a direct question have you signed yaya toure, no was the answer.

we need to get realistic as fans, these players are not going to sign for us while we aint in the CL!
finishing 5th last year was a bigger kick in the knackers than a lot realise, im not saying go for 2nd best but some of the players spouted by the ITK bullshitters just will not see us as an attractive proposition.

The agent has a point. Why is Barca demanding a princely sum when they won't even play him? They want more from us for a defensive mid than they offer for Cesc.
