latest from El Mundo Deportivo

The Manchester City, after the refusal of Maicon, is interested in lateral the Brazilian of the F.C. Barcelona, Dani Alves, one of the best ones in its position. Alves, along with Keita, was the unique ones of all the azulgrana group, that did not speak with the Barcelonan organization of their continuity in the future. The managers of the English club tried to negotiate the signing of the lateral one, with still the president of the Barça, according to publishes Ace. City offers 20 million Euros by Alves, player coming from the Seville, that cost 35 million. Touré near City With that yes it has reached an agreement the Machester City has been with Touré Yaya, according to has pubilcado Md Despite, still is so that a hypothetical crossing becomes serious. And it is that while the English do not want to pay more than 20 million, the Barça does not have the intention to accept the exit of Touré by an amount inferior to 36.

They both seem to believe the club that has reached the agreement with Toure is us, but they both state that we're a long way off reaching an agreement with Barcelona.
Thanks ONO.

Asked 3 hours ago if anyone knew if City were the club in for Yaya and this is the only significant answer. What's the point of having money in the bank when there's a great player there for the taking. He's the type of player who could turn City into title contenders. Priceless.

I'd hate to see Toure go to Chelsea or Citeh. Citeh because it would help them win things(which I never want to see as I hate the way they will be doing this via a foreign owner and not a local business man) and selling Toure to Chelsea would give them extra power in the Champions league next season. Chelsea may not be in rival in terms of the battles with Espanyol and Real Madrid, but they are a rival in the way that they are one of the biggest threats towards Barcelonas european chances. I personally don't see how Pep can favour the little diving drama queen Busquets over Toure, as Toure offers something different to the midfield, he offers a psychical pressence and does a great job of picking up the pieces in the midfield, which to me, every successfull team needs in their midfield. Busquets will get better though and in the future may become an even better player than Toure. Giving chances to La Masia products is great, but I liked Toure and thought he was more key to the team then people give him credit for.

Maybe he thinks by calling them Chelski, they're from russia.

Barca are trying to use us as the 'bring back cesc foundation', but it aint happening.
All we need to do is stall because they want Fabregas badly and will take less when push comes to shove.

It would appear Laporte is saying if Arsenal want more than 35 million euro's for Fabregas then yaya cannot be sold for less than that figure.

hmmmm some way apart by the looks of it, i tend to agree with Marivin he's what we need go get him.

I say again mate, how can we possibly have agreed a deal with the player, as reported by Laporte, unless we have agree a deal with the club re price?

He just wouldnt allow us to speak to him.

Methinks Laporte is telling porkies

No we don't know because the agent wouldn't specify the club, and the Guardian reported that City denied signing the player which was ambiguous.

I prefer to take the word of the parties involved in the transfers than anonymous Bluemooners. Some may be genuine, but always best to look for the Primary evidence.
