It's really very simple; if you can't afford to dine in the very best restaurants, don't bother looking through the menu. Inter are like a tramp with their face stuck to the window of the George V.....get to McD's you penniless Cnuts.

They will get him though. Why shouldn't they look through the menu? We may not like the price but the reality is...no other team is really interested and keeping him is suicide.

Why shouldn't they look at the menu? What's the point if they can't afford, or are not prepared to pay. I wouldn't walk into a restaurant with a fiver in my pocket and expect to haggle over the price of the food to suit my budget, so why should city?

You missed my first sentence.

You can not play him further forward.

As players legs go with age the trend is for them to drop deeper, and pick the passes. The Premiership is too competitive to carry a player like Toure.

Has to go or be dropped. I think we could just drop him. Who cares if he grumbles and his agent kicks off. His reputation is shot to pieces and he did it himself. Destroyed his stature in football. Sunday is about Lampard and the other players. Had Toure been on his game this season, the Southampton could have been a title decider not a dead rubber. I'm looking forward to the day we sell him, and I don't care what we get for him.

If he's still here August it will be as a squad player and he had better get his head around that. If he's going to carry on playing in the Premiership he had better get fit enough to run!

Its says more about our manager and coaches if we simply jettison one of , if the greatest footballer we have ever seen in a City shirt, because he has got a little older and can't cover the deficiencies of numerous other players. For *uck sake, the dippers and chavs kept the faith with two players who were older, stop looking for a scapegoat for the season. Show me the games were Milner, Nasri, Zab,s, Vinnie, Navas and either of the Fer's have over the last two seasons dragged us to a victory? Thats right you can't, but no lets sell Yaya for peanuts. Thank god this forum has no input on club strategy.

Why is keeping him "suicide"?

Keeping Yaya last summer cost us the title. What will it cost next year if we force him to stay again?

That is utter bollocks.
2012 summer window a disaster
2014 turned out to not be that much better.
The beast gone, media bias to the fore. Jovetic providing nothing, zab, vinnie, nasri, navas struggling with form. Fernando an actual downgrade on Garcia. Sergio injured, Yaya in afcon, edin , well edin. But no its Yaya having lost his younger brother to cancer, having a moment over a cake!
A manager and coaching set up that barely has a plan A. But no its Yaya's fault!

An absolute legend but I think its the right time to leave. Don't think he will be a miss in terms of our European form as we've looked a much better side without him (3-2 away victory in Munich, 2-0 win in Rome for example). The crucial thing is obviously replacing him and going by the transfer policy of the club the past few season im not entirely sure we will.

Gundogan would be my pick as he is used to playing in a 4-2-3-1 and wouldn't demand an outrageous fee.

Just hope the club stay away from Barkley and Wilshire

pmsl. How about a grand gesture where we tell Inter to go fuck themselves and Yaya that he's playing for the EDS for the next two years if no one stumps up the transfer fee?

Yaya knows too well we can't afford to keep his wage on the bill and play him on EDS.

There gotta be an understanding to make with Inter, near the £ 10 M that Juve paid us for Tevez.

But keep in mind that Inter are much worst financially than a club of that standing is supposed to be, they haven't participated in UCL fo 3 years now. Inter simply cannot pay Yaya a decent salary (decent by Yaya standards) if they are buying him too expensive.

Wonderfully put.
