Haven't read everyone's posts but just wana say I agree with the original post. Thought Yaya was a different player, playing further back near De Jong. He will find his feet in the prem soon and he'll be winning fans over I'm sure

yes one of the morning papers summed him up he is good going forward but when he has to track back he looks like he is carrying his massive pay pack in his shorts made me laugh!

Thinks he's to good to play for us. He's not unfit, he just cant be arsed. Can anyone explain why when he gets the ball every now and then he explodes into this power house midfielder who looks impossible to stop but off the ball he waddles round like an over weight sunday league player.

Yaya has had a shock imo, he never had to do the graft he does now at barca he got the ball and passed it to xavvi/iniesta the odd dribble now and again. Here he's playing a driving forward role have to get up and down the pitch which is clearly not his game imo. He had it easy at barca.

100% agree with this, he's too slow and he's unable to get his frame around the pitch, if that is because he isn't fit then questions need to be asked of why he continues to be played whilst not fit
I thought he'd be like MVF and doing the box to box job, he's nothing of the sort

he needs to played in his correct holding midfielder position to be more effective in games. Those runs he made against the rags made him look like a startled cow.

Was expecting so much more from yaya when we signed him, absolutely useless, just takes up somebody else position who will actually put in a shift for the team, rather then aimlessly jog around the pitch and sulk when he makes a bad pass or a mistimed tackle.
Dont think he has even had an average game yet, just a poor player and a liability and for 220k a week. Barcelona have done day light robbery !!!
