No mention of Kompany backing off for the goal ?

His antics in the summer have unfortunately removed the slack he should get after a poor,by his standards ,game.
A collectively bad performance today.

I think he's had a rough start to the season, he looks a bit sluggish. whilst keeping possession well enough, none of it has been particularly dangerous possession. If there are any fitness worries, that would be disappointing, given the stage of the season.
Anyway, i think Ya Ya go selfish today. When losing at home to Stoke around the 60 min mark, you need your big boys to stand up and say 'f**k this, we're not losing this one'. Ya Ya is not the only one to blame, but there was no urgency or tempo. And from 80 mins, he tried roughly 5 ridiculously difficult eye-of-the-needle passes, none of which came off, when i think he should have been concentrating on getting attacks moving and playing in simple balls.
he, and plenty others, need to realise the season has started. poor tempo!

Glad someone else thinks the same....Can't believe the shite he's getting tonight.

Well those stats mask a way below par performance from him. He was slow in getting his passes away, gave needless free kicks away because he couldn't be arsed running with his man and he allowed Stoke way too much room on the ball. He should have scored with at least one of his 6 shots as well, especially his effort that hit the bar in the first half after great work from Aguero and Silva.OB1 said:mcfcstu said:When did we sell Yaya and Nasri ?? What the fuck are you on about?
Yaya made 103 passes today and had 6 shots.
Nasri has made more key passes than any other City player so far this season.
Does'nt make you a top player just because you can pass a ball. A top player also helps out with all the dirty work and does'nt go missing like these 2 have done so far.Pablo1 said:Well those stats mask a way below par performance from him.
