This, If he'd been a rags player, the media would've been clamouring for statues to be erected, rather than looking for sticks to beat him with at every turn.

A malady which, I'm sad to say, seems to have increasingly infected some of our own "fans," over the last 18 months or so.

True. It does not help that our attacking midfield Legend bellittled or made Dummies out of England's finest midfielders (Scholes and Carrick) at Wembley's Derby. That's why the rags vilified Yaya at every opportunity..

He'll go down as one of our best ever players and deservedly so.

We missed his physicality and goal threat badly this season.

He should have defintley won the player of the year for the 2013/14 season but was snubbed. If he had gotten the credit he sought after from the media maybe he wouldn't have acted out so many times like he did.

Maybe the media didnt show him the credit he deserved but that never gave him the reason to shit on the club and the fans every summer
