Yaya Toure

Yes I would agree with Yaya - although I must admit I didn't see much of Close so I'm not well placed to comment on whether it should be him instead.

I think it was FA final when Bobby said to Yaya that he is a big game player and he needs to deliver . Indeed !he delivered.

Against chavs , eto screamed at his team mates to target yaya every time he got the ball. Stop yaya stop City.

It is a shame that Pellegrini's 2 man midfield which brought out the best in him, has now left him exposed as he reached an age when it's not possible to be an all action box to box midfielder.

I'm glad that I'm the last few months the tone has shifted towards him staying next season, I think he'll have a major Renaissance next year, when we have 3 or 4 players in midfield and not 2, plus the new signings in midfield should mean we can play him only once or twice a week, and sub him off every now and then, not play him every single minute of every game that he is fit.

Hmmm, interesting response.

Yaya is the guy who can do everything - even tackle and head the ball when he has to - did you see him turn into a winger and put in the cross that Sergio hit woodwork from in the Derby? He's literally been central to any success we have had as the player who has been most involved in play over his time at the club, with the big moments it makes him our most influential player. You might find it impossible to choose; I don't: this ain't muffin or barm.
Absolutely. For me he is up there with Bell if not better. This bunch are our greatest ever team.

On another planet to anyone in our squad, including Serge.Never been up for debate for me,haha who said Joe Hart.
