Yaya Toure

Yaya toure is the most influential player city have had imo. And possibly one of the most influential players of any club. He draged us to fa cup Victory and almost singlehandedly won os our second title two years ago. Since then he has been totally uninterested and stoicly refuses to break sweat or tackle.......and guess what the rest of the team are now doing? Yep, following yayas lead and refusing to show interest in playing football. Yaya should have been sacked a year ago. In no other industry would he still have a job. So no, he is not the best player by a long shot just a very talented and influential one who cant be arsed playing anymore.

Most influential ...NO...Vincent Kompany
Best all round Midfielder....yes

It's amazing how opinions vary when discussing football, my mate who is neutral where football is concerned reckoned we played worse when Yaya went off.

He's not the same player these days but he still doesn't lose the ball easy and knows how to pass. It's going to be difficult to replace him.
 
Nah. He's the most talented but that video of him jogging exposes him for what he is: an overpaid flat track bully mercenary. It's why Guardiola shipped him out at Barca.



All that talk of ambassadorial role, stay with the club, yada yada. Dinho busting his ass while Yaya walks around. Fuck him, he can go.

Yep, we've got a manager who doesn't instill that style unfortunately. Seemed a bit of a culmination of things going wrong yesterday, Kompany our motivator & captain leaving after 10 minutes deflated the team, then you have the vice captain putting in that sort of effort - hardly instills the team to bust a gut.

Maybe next season eh.
