"He has done all he could do at City and he needs new motivations," Dimitri Seluk told Ona FM. "Toure would like a new challenge.

"He would not cost much. He has two years on his contract and in one year he could leave under the Webster ruling."

Seluk then guaranteed that no talks have taken place with Barca, but admitted he would like to take his client back to Camp Nou.

"Toure could sign for many big clubs, like Chelsea and Bayern [Munich]," he added. "Moreover, we would like to see Barca join the race.

"I have not spoken with [soon-to-be Barca coach] Tito Vilanova or [president] Sandro Rosell, but they know the situation and if they are interested in the player there will be no problem to sit down and talk."

The agent also seemingly opened the door for a move to Real Madrid, stating that coach Jose Mourinho is a big fan of his client.

"I do not know if Madrid are interested in Toure, but I know that Mourinho has liked him a lot since he was at Chelsea," Seluk noted.

"He also wanted him when he joined Inter, but Toure was at Barca."

REALLY !

Nasri had ONE year left and City paid +20 M Pound for him, and I am sure Yaya is more valuable than Nasri "SO FAR".

Spurious bullshit to try and upset the harmony of the club and supporters. If it transpires to be true and Yaya does want to go, then we can now attract other world class players to help keep us at the top, although replacing Yaya will not be easy....Until it becomes official, he remains a City player, so relax and enjoy what we have achieved in such a short time.

his agent says leaving in a year.... he'll be 30.... understandable.

if he does go this year, we have time and resources to replace him and change our style.

that said, i doubt he will leave, as this is his agent talking not him, so its gonna take more than this to dampen my spirits!

That's the consequences of pulling your hamstring

Imagine there will be such nonsense on a daily basis until the European Championships commence. A glut of 'media' people need to fuel their 24hr machine, and this 'sensation' will be Friday's pulp.

I now fully expect an statement from Yaya to the effect that he wants to stay at City forever.

It's so cliched its untrue.
