He played really well I just hope that continues until Sunday. History tells me though he genuinely looks laboured playing three games a week. Not his fault just the sands of time

Good thing he didn't play Saturday then.

Handle the truth? What the fuck do you know? How many agree with you? Sorry but you are a knob.

How many people cheered his substitution not more than a month or two ago?

You talk about him being this world class central midfielder who controls and dominates games, simply fact is he isn't and hasn't been for two years. He occasionally turns it on for 10 minutes in a games but that's it these days, the odd good performance like tonight against teams who show no attacking ambition but in the big games we've failed to dominate anyone for a long time now and he's been at the centre of it all.

Well he wasn't, Sergio was by a country mile but after that I'd be inclined to agree with you.

The bit about "keeping us ticking in the middle of the pitch" is complete and utter bollocks though, sorry. We haven't played well as a team in midfield (odd games excluded) in the best part of two years, we're not ticking at all. People love to say it but it's a complete lie, he has the odd flash of genius but the very last thing he does is keep things ticking over. If it was true we would be playing well, we're not.
He had a good game tonight.

These are the types of games he should be playing in, because with his passing he can control these games, and they aren't physically competitive.

Utd will be a totally different game, unless LVG comes up with some tactical nonsense. There are games he can play in like tonight, but against Utd, Utd will be looking to exploit his inability to track players. And we'll have to play 5 in midfield to carry him, and Fernandinho//Fernando will spend 20% of their resources doing the dirty work he can't do.

Not much point wasting your time with him. He's already made his mind up regarding Toure and is so determined to be right that it blinds him to the reality that we're a better team with Toure than without him.

He should and will play against the rags. Its a game we need to win and the 2 Ferns don't give us enough going forward.

Because he's a Legend "Once we signed Yaya, all the others followed. He was like a Pied Piper."

I just don't get why a so called fan is so desperate to see a player fail. If we get beat on Sunday he'll be on here giving it "told you Yaya was shit!" I really can't get my head round it. He could score five in an 5-0 win and we'd get it's because the opposition is crap.

We're fucking shite with him in the team as well, the fact his replacement is usually Fernando is why the stats will probably show we're slightly better with him in the team but we'd be better with me in the team than Fernando, it's not down to Yaya.

We are better when the choice is kids or playing Demichelis or Zabaleta in midfield. But the reason we've struggled the last 2 seasons is because Toure's game has declined so much and the football club has just carried on regardless
