In his time here, he has been an absolute monster for us. At least one Premier League title and an FA Cup have been down to him in my opinion. It's a crying shame that his legacy is tarnished with these ridiculous outbursts by him and his agent. If he doesnt want to stay, then thanks and bye bye. Stop making a big deal of it. He could have walked away, said thanks for your support, time to move on, and we'd all stood and applauded him on his way. I'll feel sorry that he didn't quite get to the Bell Lee and Summerbee level. I hope Kun becomes one of our special hero's

The cynical side of me thinks he decided to up his performance yesterday to put himself in the shop window for Europe to take notice. I was pleasantly surprised then I saw the headlines this morning.

Biggest Yaya backer on the board, and I thought he played well on Tuesday, but from the praises coming to him I think majority on this board don't understand his main role on the team. On Tuesday team was playing behind the ball, and counter attacking which they don't do 99% of the time (mostly possession based team). Yaya role was to play behind Aguero and spearhead the counter attack. He did that well, but for all the praises coming to him for he wasn't that effective in the end because team didn't score. He had more sprints and more action in the final 3rd giving the appearance of effectiveness, but I don't think there were that many clear cut chances.

Majority of the time Yaya is initiating the play from deep and linking D to forwards. So if all is going to plan, he is laying the ball at the feet of the likes of Silva, Sterling, etc to make the final move to Aguero. He is not going to get credit if it comes off. If team is chasing goals, he will go forward more often and take more risks, and it will appear like "he is trying harder" but really he is playing a different role. Most fans don't recognize this and slag him with lazy tag.
Hallelujah! Someone who understands! God bless you mate!

I've said it before but he has arguably surpassed Bell, Lee and Summerbee in what he has achieved at this club. He is definitely on the same level.

We obviously wanted him to go to China so we could get a decent fee for him, Seluk knows that so is calling us out on it.

I watched CIty Slickers again last night. 3 man city legends. Contrast them with Toure and his sidekick .
The club should issue a statement confirming he will not be offered another contract.
The next step forward for the club is to show we will not be held to ransom by any player.
If he is as good as some people on here say, he will have bayern, juvenile, page queuing up for him and we will get a massive transfer fee.

Not sure he will get 3 years but i would offer him a 2 year extension and then a promise that he can go to NYC..

He is the best player i have ever seen in a City and been so influential for us during his time here...

Just think back to the 2 times we have won the Prem..

The goals against Newcastle away first time around and the performance against Palace away, the second time we won it..

Used in the right way, he can still be a match winner.

A world class footballer that cannot be replaced..

A world class player he has been, probably the most influential player in city's history when you measure it against trophies, however, it's time to move him on, thankfully there will be no sentimentality from Pep and he can do what most of us would find impossible, cutting out heros.... Now is the time to reinvent!!!
