Yes lads!

No, was just highlighting we are spending millions on a rebuild to create a team worse than what we are used to. Thats all.
You’re comparing the likes of Silva KDB Yaya Sane etc in their prime knowing what they’ve done and how they performed over years at City against players just arriving who may go onto be just as great
I would argue those greats you mentioned weren’t truly great and world class when we signed them
They developed into those players over their City careers
Hard to compare tbh

And that is the long and the short of it, these players BECAME great with us and there will be players who will become great with us again.

This post just smacks of spoilt brattishness. We have had an unprecedented era of success, and the club is doing its best to continue it. I wish us every success with a new revitalised squad, a new coaching team, and our brilliant manager. Even if it doesn’t match some of our past it may well do, and should be fun. Look forwards not back

The problem is that even if we got everyone who most people want:

J.Garcia
Livramento
Cherki
Reijnders
Rodrigo

Is that amazingly exciting?
Is it KDB, D.Silva, Yaya, Sane standard we once had? Nope.

These players aren’t going to make us match PSG.

All PSG players are quick, fast and technical.

Haaland, Marmoush, Doku won’t close down defenders like they do.
Rodri Reijnders and Nico G are quick around the pitch and as tenacious as Vitinha, Neves and Ruiz.

We all have to face facts that our time of being the best is over for a few years.

This window won’t get us back.
(I can imagine this message won’t impress happy clappers but it’s the truth).
I'm not a happy clapper. I like to think of myself as a glass 4/9ths full, I mean I hated the football we played this year, but it doesn't mean it will be like it forever. The summer is for hope. Come join us. There's plenty of room.

This post smacks of someone who needs to take a break from Bluemoon. I see you everyday getting annoyed and name calling people when they post something you don’t agree with.

All I’ve said is - Is it that exciting?
The answer to me is no.

Will it be different.. yes.

Just because I’m not getting overly excited about a new era doesn’t make me a spoilt brat.

Of course I’ll embrace the new signings but this post is about SalforPauls update that the rebuild this summer will be outrageous. To me it won’t.

Pep will play his own style. Just because PSG have romped to a European Cup doesn’t mean they will be unstoppable going forward. I wish people would have faith in Pep, why wouldn’t you trust a man that has broke all sorts of record in the 9 years he’s been here?

Whilst Silva was a good player when we signed him, Madrid didn't want him. Barca neither. He wasn't in the sort of demand that Wirtz is at the moment. You can say the same for perhaps all our signings bar possibly Agüero and definitely Haaland.
