Any photos of Blackpool away 3 weeks later?
Freezing cold, stood in a stand that could only be described as a scrapyard, shit match, not one shot on target.

Was that the 0-0 and Blackpool brought on a kid who was rapid and nearly won it for them?
And to get out the ground we walked across the pitch to some big doors.

Yeah. They say York was our lowest point but surely turning up to the match after that showed even more loyalty. Especially with a shitty lunchtime kick off time on a boxing day.

I had a brilliant day. We ended up drinking bucketloads in Micklegate and along the river. We also played well and were very unlucky to lose. In some ways it was the first glimmer of hope. We played much worse at Wrexham but won there. And then Stoke at home was the real turnaround. I can remember those matches better than away trips last season.

Saw Curly in a boozer before that infamous Oldham ladder game. I sadly did not do York away but it's still my favourite city for a good pub crawl.

Went to Luton (home end), Wimbledon and Blackpool around the York match but missed the big one.

I'm well aware why this game has become what it has but as a sign of loyalty, the reality is it's a bit nonsense really.

Saturday before Christmas. Our first ever league game against them. And in one of the best cities in England for a good old piss up.

If you were going to pick just one away game to go to that season when the fixtures came out, this might well have been it.
