Very little, it still doesn’t change the fact he was burgled himself though, or that his experience was multiple burglars that subsequently tried to cover it up. They’re still two different actions, they don’t need to be interconnected. What it does do is make the whole situation even more depressing for those on the potential receiving end, either from reading Rafiqs experiences or his tweet.

And I’m fine with that criticism, just not the notion that his account of what happened to him shouldn’t be credited or acknowledged, which is what you were saying in that initial post I replied to. Him being antisemitic and saying what he did doesn’t change how a Pakistani child will feel reading about his experiences and what they think they might encounter in later life (or a Jewish child will feel seeing what he posted himself). Both are damaging and need to be addressed. He’s at least acknowledged it and apologised for it, regardless of if you believe the sincerity. The issue with Yorkshire CCC isn’t just that it all happened in the first place, its their actions in trying to dampen it rather than face into it.

You misunderstood, I was saying that his accounts shouldn't be given the same weight of sympathy in the perception that he is a blameless victim now as others were portraying him as, as he was guilty of such actions himself as those he has accused. He's effectively part of the same problem he has publicly highlighted. My empathy for his situation isn't what it was, because he's made anti-semitic comments and has only addressed that fact after others outed him.

Note I also said that his account should be addressed and those responsible confronted, but it's the integrity of his words that I feel has now has been sullied, because he was a perpetrator of it himself. Remember, it was a breaking news story at the time I posted and I was justifiably angry and disappointed in him.

You see you're 100% not giving him the benefit of doubt in saying he doesn't remember the exchange of tweets One night from over Ten years ago with his mate. You honestly don't think he really did forget posting it? There was no continued Antisemitism from him, Just this one incident, Whereas pretty much everyone else in this sorry episode has Numerous Tweets & unforgivable behaviour.

Yesterday he said Azeem Rafiq's accounts shouldn't even be acknowledged.

Should Azeem Rafiq's accounts be given ANY credit or acknowledgement after it has been proven he too was guilty in the exact same behaviour he has accused others of doing to him? Absolutely fucking not.

Everyone is bigoted in some way the older generation my gran bless her,Never trust anyone in brown shoes.Men with beards have something to hide.All irish are terroists was her favourite one!
My grandfather hated germans because of what he witnessed in the war!So in some way they were racist bigots but as they never posted it on social media they are not vilified for it.They only said it to family but they were guilty of subconcious racism,bigotory but like all normal minded people thier children and grandkids were able to make up thier own minds.
