On his game he's a better player than Ireland at his best, he loves that slide rule pass into the inside-forward position to Torres (spin/goal/see ya later), great engine, proper busy bastherd. Simply offering yourself (cause your not playing the shitbag game of 'don't pass to me you make the mistake') to your teammates 100 times a match puts pressure on your opponents cause it's got to be covered...simple game sometimes. Good player

We still don't have enough players who 'offer themselves' as you put it. You can never have too many, of course - the best teams have 11 on the pitch at any one time whereas I doubt we have 11 in the squad...

Barry and Zab, for all the criticism they receive, both have that crucial attribute. I expect next season we'll have a team with more players who have that characteristic. For all the snarling some players do, wanting the ball when you're heavily marked is true mental strength

good signing. v underrated. can be a bit of headless chicken at times, but admire his spirit and drive. doesn't always have the Finnish to compliment his hard work. but will undoubtedly benefit from the decent service and better recipients than Lucas, Ngog ect. good luck to him, deserves a shot, prolly wont get too many opportunities though eh.

They both have it abundance, Barry spefically will demand the ball off a teamate who's flapping even whilst his own marker his trying to kick-kid him that his reqiusition (sp?) is the wrong move. Given, Richards, Bridge and Petrov shit thier knickers.

Liverpool must have lost the plot selling Yossi, else thier confident in replacing him...they have a long history of this type of player from the likes of Brian Hall through to Ray Houghton...i do hope it stays fine for 'em.
