Not checked but watched a programme about Roll Royce during the war and one of the RR guys stripped, what was to be, a RR down to the aluminium ( hence silver ghost ) and drove it 15,000 miles non stop, Glasgow to London quite a few times, as a publicity stunt, broke the record twice over. It was said that this car was the most valuable, $35,000,000.That's beautiful mate.
It's an interesting question, which is THE most valuable car in the world. I've no idea.
I saw John Lennons psychedelic Rolls sold in 85 for 2.3 million and is now valued at 7 million.
Bet Herbie's worth more than all of them :)
Corvette stingray if we're going yank wank. Or maybe dodge viper. Not much else appeals really.Hmm...it's a trickier question than first appears. I can't just go for my fave kind of car as I have to think about running costs and shit. So it has to be economical and ecological in the long run. A good family car too. And safety matters.
All these things to be taken into consi....fuck it...a Mustang..
Some early Bentleys are starting to get silly money, as are ferraris, I've never seen a rolls Royce go for the money you quoted. I'd guess early fl cars change hands for around a hundred or so million, but these tend to be private sales, and not publicised.
A car is only worth what someone pays for it.
