You can have any car for free but can never sell it.

I'm lucky that I have a few bikes, all from the 80's.
If pushed, I'd like a ducati 748, a Honda blade (early) and an early r1.
Cb good choice fella
Sounds like your living the life I would like :-)
The 400/4 was my first proper bike & it just seemed to suit my abilities (or lack of) at the time, also we lived out in the countryside & it was a perfect size for the twisty country lanes.

I'd get one of those massive American motorhomes, at least I could rent it out when not using it

I've a 20 y/o one, a SLK 320, neighbour keeps asking me if I want to sell it, 3 times I've told him... it's the thought of him drving it past my house in it. It would be like someone having sex with your ex girlfriend.
I know so little about cars everyone was gobsmacked when I got mine. All I know was it was a 2 seater, automatic, a roof that somehow put itself into the boot, whole, with just the press of a button and by fuck in drove like a dream. It was my 2 year treat (leased through my small businees)
Mrs Mist still reminds me of the time we were rear ended on the M56. All I kept saying was 'my car, my fucking car'. It seems I was meant to enquire how she was! The damage turned out to be minor but still.

Not at all mate, but I appreciate your comment.
Owning and running old bikes is a constant pain in the arse, and a money pit. But, and here's the thing, there's nothing better than riding a bike that you've restored yourself.

Often thought of trading mine in for something newer ( and the car ), but she's a ' basic ' V6 3.2, old school chrome surrounds with wood veneer dash. Nowadays its all polished carbon fibre and electronic wizardry, probably a very fuel efficient diesel FFS. Not the same.....

Mine has that piano black interior, it's actually wood, when you look closely. It's pretty good for a mass produced car

And yours is increasing in value, keep it, look after it but most of all enjoy it.
